Includes all of the benefits and features of the Charles isolation transformers including: isolation of the boat from potential shore-side power hazards including surges, spikes and transients, onboard protection of AC electrical/electronic products from shore, elimination of the need for galvanic isolators and polarity alarms. The Iso-Boost?s internal circuitry has the ability to automatically sense voltage and adjust output. When in the "boost" mode, the isolated output is increased by 15% to supply added power in the event of low voltage. Mechanically interlocked contactors automatically switch between normal and "boost" modes providing a highly efficient voltage transition. The Iso-Boost enables the operation of 240V system/equipment from 208V dock supplied power.
