This ensures the proper tip action without having to use solid glass tips to prevent tip breakage. Each rod incorporates blank-through-butt construction. These rods range from Extra Fast, Fast, Medium Fast & Medium taper. We choose only the highest quality Fuji components for guides, tip tops, reel seats & gimbals. On Stand-Up models, we use Stuart Anodized machined aluminum reel seats and gimbals for added strength. Stand-Up models T6024SU-SIC & T6038SU-SIC have Fuji SIC Oval Concept guides for use with wind on leaders, wire & braided line or any where you want a cut proof light weight wide slot guide. Other models use Fuji's Hardloy guides that are diamond polished & permanently mounted to the frame, resulting in lighter weight, greater heat dissipation and decreased line wear. Each of the Fuji guides & tip tops is triple wrapped. Multiple coats of clear epoxy finish the wrapping process for a perfect look. We chose the more expensive hypalon fore grips because they are extremely durable, comfortable and water resistant. Hypalon is softer than EVA and does not retain dents or marks like EVA does. Slick butts make pulling rods in and out of rod holders easier and will not tear like an EVA rear grip. Extra fast taper live bait T7013C?s hypalon rear grip reduces weight and adds comfort for West Coast Bait & jig fisherman. While NorthEast striper anglers use this rod for live baiting eels. T7013S is a great Sailfish rod for kite fishing. T7013KMC is a King Mackerel rod designed for the SKA circuit with a tip that can adsorb the head shaking antics of a big King without pulling the hook.
