Crew overboard? Smart system sounds an alarm and stops the boat!Protect yourself and crew from injuries due to a fall overboard without compromising your fun! Driver and passengers wear a keychain-sized durable, reusable sensor. If anyone falls overboard, the sensor, upon submersion, immediately activates. It instantly transmits a signal to the ignition control module under the helm that sounds an alarm and shuts off the motor. The control panel features two rocker switches. One is a sensor test switch and one is the Rescue Mode button that, when pressed, will allow the engine to restart for rescue recovery. System includes a rocker switch assembly, ignition control module, antenna and four sensors that are light and easy to wear. Additional sensors are available separately to equip all your passengers and pets.

"After years of putting up with wiggly, low confidence engine carriers, we decided to build our own and break away from the market. It had to be maneuverable but not tippy; it had to be adjustable but not sloppy; and it had to be compact when stored during the season. On all counts, we think we ve got a winner. Conservatively rated for 175# (more than that, and you need a crane to move your engine around!), our Big Engine Carrier will handle engines with shafts to 25 and approximately 25HP. Both the height and the angle are adjustable for maximum convenience when working on your engine. Plus, the hardwood transom board won t bend or flex in the sun like plastic boards do. After use, a few pins are pulled and the carrier folds flat like one of those gizmo ladders that are sold on Late Night TV." Folding Commercial Outboard Engine Carrier, up to 175 lbs. This ultra rugged, folding carrier makes moving your auxiliary outboard easy! Forward wheels eliminate the need to tilt the carrier back to transport your load. With up to 175lb. carrying capacity, this carrier has been designed to accommodate all 15-25 shaft portable engines. Large pneumatic wheels roll easily over uneven surfaces and forward locking castors allow your carrier to pivot on its axis and lock into place for storage. This outboard carrier has an adjustable transom angle and height to replicate the position of the engine installed on a vessel to make service fast and easy. When not in use, the unit can easily be folded for storage and transport. Folds for easy storage and transport 10 tires and locking castors for transport over rough and semi-soft surfaces Minimal assembly Ultra rugged professional grade construction Standard 2 x6 solid wood mounting surface can easily be replaced when weathered or damaged Powder-coated and corrosion-resistant hardware used throughout Adjustable 0-15 degree transom angle for stability Adjustable height keeps center of gravity as low as possible Accommodates all outboard engines 15 -25 (38cm-64cm) shaft length Wide track provides stability and resists tipping Weight: 39lbs.(17.7kg) Capacity: 175lbs.(79.5kg) Specifications: Dimensions assembled: 31.1 x 39.4 x 39.4 - (79cm x 100cm x 100cm) Dimensions folded: 31.1 x 10.6 x 39.4 - (79cm x 27cm x 100cm)

Yamaha Outboard Martyr Anode Boater's World is your Sacrificial Anode Center. We want to make sure engine troubles don't keep you from having fun on the water! No matter where you choose to do your boating, we have all the right products to help take care of your boat. Read this quick overview on how to protect you engine from corrosion! What causes corrosion? Seawater is a good conductor and freshwater a bad conductor, so corrosion is worse in seawater. Generally, corrosion rates increase in proportion to the amount of oxygen in the water. However, cracks and crevices, which are areas starved of oxygen, become anodic and corrode also. Higher temperature increases corrosion rates - doubling for every 30 degrees C (55 degrees F). There are various types of microorganisms that can contribute to corrosion, either by removing protection or causing a corrosive environment. Why do I need anodes? You need anodes on your engine because when two different metals are in contact, electrons will flow from the more negatively charged metal (anode) to the more positive metal (cathode). If you want to protect both types of metal from corrosion, you must add a third metal such as zinc, although magnesium and aluminum are also used. This active metal becomes the anode for both metals. The zinc or aluminum sacrifices itself to protect the other two metals, hence the term "sacrificial anode".Do's and Don'tsDO change your anode when they are 50 percent corroded DO make sure they make good electrical contact - remove paint and clean the mounting surface.DO protect trim tabs individually (do not bond). Although they are usually made from stainless steel they can still corrode and need sacrificial anodes.DO be sure to use new fasteners on sterndrives - even stainless bolts fail as a result of corrosion.DO keep a sterndrive immersed in the water so that the anodes can work. DON'T use zinc anodes on aluminum outdrivesDON'T paint anodes. They will not work to their full potential!DON'T mix anode types - aluminum anodes will try to protect zinc.DON'T use magnesium anodes on outdrives in salt or brackish water as it will "overprotect" the aluminum.
