The central nervous system of every SmartPilot system, Raymarine corepacks are comprised of a course computer, patented fluxgate electronic compass and rudder reference unit. In order to select the right SmartPilot corepack for your vessel you must first determine which autopilot drive unit is right for your steering system. Each corepack contains a SmartPilot course computer in either a standard configuration or a G version. "G" version corepacks feature a built in Rate Gyro sensor (which enables the software to intelligently monitor the vessel's pitch and roll to anticipate course changes without developing steering instability or oversteering for course corrections in difficult steering situations such as downwind with a following sea. The rate gyro also allows the software to "AutoLearn" the vessel's steering characteristics) and Raymarine AST (Advanced Steering Technology). SmartPilot corepacks are available in three levels (S1, S2 and S3) of performance. Based on the type of drive unit or your vessel displacement use the chart below to select the appropriate SmartPilot corepack for your vessel. NOTE: T150 Corepacks from 2003 are now called S2 Corepacks. T400 Corepacks are now called S3 Corepacks. Fluxgate compass - 3.0"W x 3.0"L x 2.28"H; Rudder Reference Transducer - 7.35"L x 2.75" dia. x 2.4"H Intelligence hub of the system with powerful microprocessor; AutoSeaState with adjustable response levels, autotrim, autotack/turn Course computer drip-resistant when vertically mounted Warranty: Two years

Raymarine has replaced the ST5000 Autopilots with an advanced line of pilots called SmartPilots. With SmartPilots, you get all the features of a high-end autopilot for much less. With a SmartPilot you can stay right on course when the going gets rough with Fast Trim, control the way the pilot steers your boat with Sensitivity Response and make cross-track error a thing of the past by interfacing your pilot to an onboard GPS. In addition, G-Series Autopliots maintain a razor-sharp course with Advanced steering technology*, set your pilot up for optimum performance using Autolearn that automatically learns your boat's handling characteristics and provide accurate rate gyro stabilized heading information to radar and chartplotters. These all-in-one box systems are designed for medium-sized, 20,000lb. displacement, hydraulically-steered powerboats with inboard, I/O or outboard engines. Each system includes an S1 or S1G corepack, a control head and the appropriate Type I 12V hydraulic drive unit for your inboard and I/O or outboard powerboat. Boat Type: Inboard models come with rotary style rudder feedback. Outboard models come with linear style rudder feedback Control: ST6002 models have ST6002 control heads an exact match to ST60 instruments. ST8002 models have the new larger ST8002 control head with an easy to use rotary style control knob Corepack: S1 models offer low-cost performance. S1G models offer built-in rate-gyro for improved performance and handling that also provides stabilized heading information for your radar or chartplotter Includes an S1 or S1G corepack, control head and Type 1 drive unit
