JP Xcite Ride ES Windsurfing Board 95
Werner Gnigler: “Two years ago we decided to develop a board line with only one thing in mind - having fun. We agreed that it was not all that important for these boards to win the performance criteria of magazine tests. Yet, surprisingly, the X-Cite Ride line won many international tests with high scores in the easy surfing and performance criteria”. Since then Werner has further developed this concept and improved the boards in all directions. Today they are probably the best selling Freeride boards on the market. Key Features of the JP Australia Xcite Ride Es 95 Windsurfing Board: A wide mid section and a narrow tail result in a curvy outline that makes for great maneuverability and a very responsive, lively feel. The boards respond to foot steering immediately Substantial width provides for easy and early planing Reduced length makes them very alive Thin rails and a round tuck give you good grip and control resulting in a comfortable and smooth ride even in rough conditions. The thin rails also contribute to the nearly automatic jibing. The deck shape enhances comfortable and relaxed crusing The flat section of the channel bottom lies right under your feet provides for maximum control, early planing and high speed The curve in the rail line (area outside the channel) makes the boards addictively easy to jibe and quite maneuverable Normal finish Length (cm) Width (cm) Volume Fin 252 60 95 Power, Carve 29

North Sails Duke Winsurfing Sail 5.0
Only in rare occasions such physically different windsurfers became so intensively involved in the development of a single sail as was the case with Björn Dunkerbeck, Gollito, and André Paskowski. After all, however, no other sail can cover the entire range from wave to flatwater Freestyle as perfectly as the new DUKE. Basically, the requirements for a Power Wave and a Freestyle sail are very similar: great planning potential combined with maximum handling and good controllability. Up to a size of 5.4m², the DUKE was therefore designed as a powerful Wave sail according to Björn’s specifications. Since it possesses the greatest trimming versatility of all our Wave sails, it can also be easily controlled by medium-weight pilots. The use of stable X.PLY 725 in the centre panel of the small DUKE increases durability, leaves room for reserves, and underscores the suitability of the small DUKE for waves. For sizes 5.9m² and above, Kai Hopf improved the new DUKE strictly according to the specifications of our Freestyle World Champion Jose “Gollito” Perez and EFPT Champion André Paskowsky. Although 5 battens and HYPER.LEECH II were already part of the standard equipment in the previous year, it is the reworked, less nervous TT.TOP and the slightly reduced sail foil tension of the current model that really optimize behaviour and allow for easier pumping, controlling, and more sensitive steering of the rig, especially when carrying out difficult Freestyle tricks. All DUKE models are made to suit SDM masts, which ideally fit this type of a more direct sail. Size: 5.0m Boom: 173cm Luff: 428cm Battens: 5 IMCS: 19-21
